Required Skills and Experience:
· Experience in related field an asset
· Possess the physical ability of required lifting
As a receiver you will accept all orders that arrive from vendors, inspect all accepted orders for obvious physical damage, record accepted deliveries in the “Orders Accepted and Received Log”, use the Receiving Package to note any special orders, holds, or new products, use the invoice and the purchase order to receive the product, process invoices for accounting, submit Request for Credit forms for any product that is sent in error or damaged, separate Customer Special Orders and contact customers when necessary, accept Inter Store Orders from other Nature’s Fare stores, use Shipper Breakdown form and Shrink Wrapped Product form to correctly receive shippers or shrink wrapped items, leave receiving area clean and tidy and the end of each day and ensure adequate communication with department heads and purchasers. As well as any additional duties that may arise.
You will maintain a positive attitude and help foster positive attitudes amongst all team members. You will assist in the success of the grocery department and be an integral part of building happy and loyal customers.
