The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Processing the Bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary employees in multiple payroll companies.
Working with Store Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure all time sheets have followed the proper approval process. Data entry of all Head Office time cards and adjustments to the Avanti payroll as required. Coordinating with Management on all bonus’s, rate increases and preparation of Record of Employment in a timely manner. Preparation of bi-weekly and monthly payroll reporting for multiple payroll companies. Ensuring payroll actions are in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations, WorkSafeBC regulations, Employment Standards, Company Policies and employment contracts. Administration of employee benefits program from enrollment to termination. Preparation of monthly wage accruals calculations. Address all Service Canada/CRA communication and reporting. Prepare all WorkSafeBC remittance and reporting. Ensure complete and accurate record-keeping for all payroll functions. Performing all payroll related year-end tasks. Responding to all payroll inquiries in a timely manner. Assisting the finance department as needed. Travelling for training purposes on occasion.
